Diary of a New Tinnitus. The
Sounds of Tinnitus. Conclusion
In his final broadcast, which was some time after his previous
one and some eight months into his life living with the sounds of tinnitus, Keith
finds himself in what he terms " a much better place".
He feels much more in control of his situation, does not suffer panic
attacks and tends to focus on the souds of tinnitus very much less than in his early days.
Keith describes himself as habituating to it. He feels that
everyone must go through a process of finding their own treatment or way of dealing with the sounds of
tinnitus. He recognises that each person will have a different need and a different outcome.
His advise is for keeping good physical health and to avoid
focussing on the sounds of tinnitus.
....and it is because he seeks to avoid his own focus on it that he
made this his last video.
I hope that you took the time to watch through this interesting
sequence of videos. As I suggested earlier Keith's experience of living those early days with the sounds
of tinnitus so mirrors my own that I found it spooky!
Keith's disbelief and frustration at the suggestion that he would
have to listen to those sounds of tinnitus from inside his head forever, the attitude of "learn to live with it"
from doctors and specialists. The total lack of knowledge or understanding of this invasive and
debillitating condition. The difficulty in explaining what it is like and how it impacts on your life to
those around you. The total frustration.
Keith's realisation that there is no one cure for eliminating the sounds of tinnitus. We are all
different and hear something different as our own sounds of tinnitus. That to realise your tinnitus relief needs
some trial and error, some experimentation.
In order for you to relieve the sounds of tinnitus demands that you follow a plan. As there is no
druig that can be prescribed as a cure, an overall hollistic approach, coupled with a belief that you can
win is the only way forward. But, tinnitus can be beaten, even if it cannot be cured.

Tinnitus Diary. Episode 1 In his introduction to this video journal of his new
tinnitus a very tired looking Keith described the appearance of "weird noises" in his ears that he could find no
explanation for.
Tinnitus Diary. Episode 2 In this broadcast Keith, now looking even more
tired tells us that his sounds of tinnitus are not only still there, they are getting worse.
Tinnitus Diary. Episode 3 In this broadcast Keith is becoming
increasingly stressed by the tinnitus sound in his head. With the tinnitus sound now at a
higher level and apparent in both ears he is feeling dizzy and has gone back to his doctor who prescribed
drugs to help with his dizziness. Keith had not taken them as he avoids any form of drug.
Tinnitus Diary. Episode 4 Keiths Tinnitus Sounds are still with him in this latest entry
although they have got no worse. They fluctuate all the time and Keith has put a level score of 1-10 to his
tinnitus sound so that he can try to explain his discomfort to other people.
Tinnitus Diary. Episode 5 Keith is having what he describes as a rough time with his
Tinnitus Noise, which in the last update had gone way over his own tinnitus noise level scale of 1-10.
Tinnitus Diary. Episode 6 In episode 6 Keith's Tinnitus Noise is still bad and still
fluctuating.
Tinnitus Diary. Episode 7 Episode 7 sees Keith having had a
bad week with his Tinnitus Sounds fluctuating in nasty spikes.
Tinnitus Diary. Episode 8 Episode 8 sees a more positive Keith although he had had a very
mixed week with his Tinnitus Noises.
Tinnitus Diary. Episode 9 Good news! Keith has had his MRI scan results and
they are all clear. He has suffered high levels of stress and consequent tinnitus noise while awaiting those
results.
Tinnitus Diary. Episode 10 This episode of his video diary Keith focuses very much on
dealing with his tinnitus sound by learning to live with it.
Living a normal life, eating the things he likes although steering away from too much salt and sugar. In fact
living a normal life.
Tinnitus Diary. Episode 11 This time Keith reports that his Tinnitus Sounds has
actually got worse. Having said that they did go up and down. But generally his tinnitus sounds were quite
consistantly in the upper level of his tinnitus sounds indicator.
Tinnitus Diary. Episode 12 In this his final
broadcast, which was some time after his previous one and some eight months into his life living with
the sounds of tinnitus, Keith finds himself in what he terms " a much better place".
